From Whence I Came
I am a Philly girl for sure!! Cheesesteaks and TastyKakes, Water Ice and Soft Pretzels. That's what Philly girls are made of. Running and playing in the fire hydrant during the Summer while the sounds of Gamble & Huff made every day a celebration! I had a great childhood, and my parents kept me busy. My parents moved to Atlantic City when I was a child, but I spent all holidays, Summers, and a lot of weekends in Philly, so it was like I lived in 2 different cities; I guess you can say I got the best of both worlds. I attended Catholic School from K~ 8 then I went on to "Da High" as we affectionately called Atlantic City High School. I was in the auxiliary in my High School's Band, where I twirled flags, shook pom poms and marched in beat with the band, and I was also in the choir. I stayed active while in high school; I worked in McDonald's, went to dance class, learned how to sew and made clothes and I also was in a sorority in high school called the XINOS; a Social Club called the KILWAS and I participated in the Debutante Ball called the Cotillion. I thought high school was the best 4 years of my life until I attended college.
